About the Artist

Jevon Buckley (born April 20,2001) better known by his stage name Slopee Dawgg is an American rapper,singer,producer,and songwriter,entrepreneur,and actor. Slopee was born in Detroit,Michigan but relocated to Warner Robins,Georgia at the age of 4.Slopee started rapping at age 12 with his childhood friend Pedro “Lil Dro” Garcia who was murdered on his brother’s birthday. Slopee mentions Pedro in various songs as tribute to his friend. When the two started rapping they would record on a small Samsung phone over Drake instrumentals. It wasn’t until Slopee turned 16 that he was seriously pursue a career in music. Dropping multiple singles and ep’s he wasn’t quite gaining a buzz in his city.
Slopee would go on to release his first actual mixtape Boneefied which garnered him a small buzz with the single “Never Love A Hoe” which unfortunately wasn’t featured on the mixtape, but opened the eyes of many to his unique flow and rhyming style. Slopee has stated his musical influences as Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, 2Pac, E-40, Too Short, Wu Tang Clan, Eazy E, Master P, Lil Romeo, and 50 Cent.
